The oldest yacht brokers Association in the world Since 1962
The Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association is one of the oldest of its kind. Founded in 1962 by the pioneers of the business at the time, the Association has today over a hundred members with active businesses established in Greece.
“Sales brokers”, “charter brokers”, “surveyors” and “specialized advisors” are entitled to membership and new members are especially welcome to join and bring new ideas to the table.
Some of the goals of HYBA are:
- To promote yachting in Greece and on an international level.

To suggest and advise on the use of contracts

To evaluate the standards of yachts

To protect and promote members’ interests and to instill a spirit of cooperation amongst its members

To plan and market on all issues relating to the future of yachting

It is reassuring to know that HYBA Charter Brokers are bonded and licensed by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) of the Ministry of Tourism and HYBA Sales Brokers are required to be members of the Chamber of Commerce.
The diversity of HYBA members and their expertise in number of specializations gives the HYBA Board a broader understanding of the entire yachting spectrum and a position to assist and influence decisions at a higher level.
